honestly, I prefer to cut them up my self. I'm not exactly sure how to do that in Vegas, I haven't touched it in ages. I'll go and check.

im so use to them already being cut up, and i think its faster it would be so sick to have the way it used to be instead of one big clip, thanks

Wow, I think its real hard to cut it up. If you were me, I'd freaking have to put everything over and over, and shorten the clips. o_O

what storage are u recording to? u can use "s" to slit clips but i see your point, just drag the clip in, then put it towards the end of your project, go through it, split the bit u want, drag it to the front, edit your vid and just refer to the big clip at the back and keep spliting, then delete it when done.

you're not capturing the thing as one continuous clip right? You will find a clip you want from the tape on your computer, capture that clip, then stop capturing until you find the next clip you want right? If you do that, you should be able to re-name them and keep them organized all right from the capturing pop-up window. Butt, if you're trying to capture a lengthy set of clips, (say like your friends are all really good, and every trick they land is a banger, first try), just try to remember to stop it from capturing after each clip is over, that way it's already split for you?

Not really sure what you mean by they all stay together I guess, but if you do either one of those things it should work I guess. If not, give me more info, I MIGHT be able to help. No guarantees =)
