i know this should be in discuss anything, but i know not as many people look there and i want everyone to see this as a heads up. Anyways, last night, heading home from a party i was speeding, 60 in a 50, but i went over this blind hill that turns left, my car didnt like jump, but came off the ground a bit as i tryed to turn left, so i lost control, ended up on the left side of the road and hit a telephone pole somewhere in the area of 40-50 mph. i was buckled and the sheriff that took the report said i would be dead for sure if i wasnt, he said i would have gone through the windshield and either hit the telephone pole, or through the woods on my left which would have "stripped the skin from me," what really makes me sick is that 20 minutes earlier, tyler hale was with me and i went over that same hill only a few mph slower than when i crashed, and he wasnt buckled, i think im more thankful that he wasnt with me than anything. My car is totalled and the telephone pole is snapped completely in half, but i am fine though, my hip and shoulder are pretty bruised from the seatbelt and my necks sore. The cop let me off with a warning for speeding, and insurance covers the telephone pole which would have cost about 2000 dollars. Im not fixing the car, its got 110k miles anyways and just isnt worth it. What i want everyone to take from this is to always wear seat belts, and dont drive like an idiot. I fucked up becuase i was speeding, which i am definitely done doing, but my seat belt saved my life.
