No, But I took Ap chem and know carbon fiber would not hold up against the great amount of pressure a freestyle scooter goes through.

they are good but they are very fragile
i have riden on and suprisingly it held up very well
the only one i have seen that snapped was when my homie mark atkins jumped off a roof with it
