catching whips?

I cant catch them for my life..
I can do triple whips only cuz I can barely get em all the way around and dont hafta catch em
my singles i gotta do suuuuper slow and i cant even do doubs and i dont know why lol

any advice?

But on whatever your doing them on, get the rotation fast, then watch the deck, and then pull the deck into your feet. It helps to just get your feet over to 270 as soon as it is thrown. Concentrate more on the pulling it into your feet then anything. I can do them off kickers and probably curbs.

when youre starting its always easier to whip with your front foot and catch with your back foot after the 270 rotation of the deck and bring your feet back together. thats how I learned to do them. just get a curb or a kicker, whip fast and practice youll get em

yea, i was the same, took a while to learn how to catch, i think it just comes after a while, i remember the day i started to catch, just all of a sudden i was realizing that i was catching them, just keep practicing.
