Cement or wood

Do you prefer a wooden park or a cement park? Why? Are there any noticable differences? (sorry if this is already a thread)

Wood, 100%. Cement parks usually have a cooler layout but wooden parks are almost always more smooth. I'm not sure what skatebarn has but I've heard it's way slippery, the skatelite surfaces of places are just perfect. Plus, if you fall on cement it hurts more =(

You guys must be high, wood is so shitty. I don't know what concrete park you're riding that's less smooth than wood, Dibbs. Maybe you should come out to AZ. Unless your park is indoor or you are constantly working on it, cement is the way to go.

i like wood alot because it doesn't hurt as bad when you fall. lol. but it all depends on what kind of condition it is in. like if we're talking skatelite...wood all the way for me.

wood for the most part, concrete freaks me out sometimes when it comes to bailing out. But i love concrete too, in other situations in which i have a small chance of falling ha.

Definately concrete. I just wish there were some good concrete parks in New Jersey. And don't say Sayerville because that park sucks.
