Chosing a new fork asap

So my swish (uk company) forks finally snapped. as they had a lifetime warranty but are no longer in production i get a discount on the new forks i need to buy, i can only get them from here

http://www.doggscooters.com/uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=11

now take into account the cost of the forks, i know everyone loves tilt on here but they are really expensive (1gdp is about 1.6usd so tilt forks are like 160 or 144 for the nimbus), which forks are the best value for money do you think. i want forks that will not break, i was thinking ethics forks but i have heard they are not very strong. i am not a weight freak by any means but lighter is still better for me. has anyone seen or heard of a snapped nimbus and are they stronger than the alternatives available.

and by the way you can search by brand to whittle out companies like grit.
btw i am forced to run rup forks on my scooter and cant have the headset tight as i think they are slanted(the headset gets unevenly tight when the compression is tightend)

yea possibly, it says on the website that phase forks are lighter that tilts, i find that odd as they are chromo no alu, i prefer the look of tilts but they are 1.5 times more expensive. btw i lived in sweden last year but in varberg, could not ride for 6 months due to snow and no indoor park.

Tilt or phoenix. The ethic and addicts and stuff are real nice but can break easily and you stated you dont wanna take that risk. Can really go wrong with tilt or phoenix tho. The phase can bend if you hit it wrong or run pegs because there is no gusset connecting the two legs, but otherwise i hear its nice. I ride a chromo fork and its over 2 years old

I've heard that the UrbanArtt forks are good, they've been made out of the strongest aluminium, depends also, what's your riding style-street or park, they're better with street

thanks for the suggestion but you dont really get park or street forks, forks are forks. now you do get forks good and bad for smith grinds etc but thats another thing. the only thing with ua parts is dont know their strength, they are made of a strong material but i think the wall thickness is really thin, strength matters more than 50g of extra weight. the nimbus looks really nice it is just sooooooo expensive in the uk 90 (144 usd) for a fork

o yea and i like pegs so i probably wont get the phase forks then

Well idk Maxime LeGrand rides them and he's a beast, and also those would be the best forks in the shop that could be used with pegs, as they're peg friendly
