You can have them chromed, but it isn't something you can do yourself, try contacting a local machinist or welding shop and ask where you can get it done.
Chrome plating is not cheap and it most certainly is not something you can do on your own. You google chrome plating for anodizing for your area. They will be able to pint you in the right direction if the shops robert pointed you to are not turning up results.
