chromoly parts

yea but ur gay quad wips out of fly out r just dumb there is no point unless u just learnt them
I would rather say the more whips, the harder it is to keep it stylish. It would be awesome to see someone do a smooth quad over a big box, catch it and proceed to flowing the park.

haha dude thats exactly what we were going to do with forks if we started making them. but rad bars require a 1-1/4" star nut razor bars need a normal 1-1/8" star nut. but ya that shits dialed. i have pics of a fork i made too. ill put them up in a sec when my comp is done lagginjg...

those need a long B axle but the legs are like 100 times as strong as razor forks.
then you put a star nut in the bars and run a bolt up from the bottom of the fork. keeps it tight way better than a nut on threadless forks. and it looks cleaner and stuff.

man i thought i did somethin cool, damnit, those r nicer than mine though, cause on mine i still use the bottom part of the razor fork, the part that hold the wheeel, those are sik man

ya the legs on those are super strong cause they are bent round not like folded so it doesnt have a weak point plus its all out of way higher grade steel then razor forks. i really want to start making rad forks but the only thing is i dont know where i can get the little peice on the bottom of the forks for the crown race to press on. i have looks at all sorts of bicycle frame parts places and stuff. or i will have to use a lathe and shave the entire steer tube down except on bottom so its fatter for the race... but thats alot of time and work.

Cory you own life its self

and for the side topic I dont like a lot of whips unless there stylish and with a nice catch. Cleering a box helps too.

u may think this another stupid thread but to me i wanna know what u guys think
i think razor should make some chromoly parts for skoot bcuz aluminum is to soft and breaks easy what do you think?
You just saying the word "skoot" makes me want to slit my throat.

Razor has made steel parts. Not Chromoly, but chromoly is a kind of steel. Granted for the mostpart the only faulty steel part they have made is steel fenders (previously on the Pro Model prototype) and the folding system rails on the AW's.

EDIT: Cory, those forks are nice. If you start making them, I would definetly check out a set.

cory i think that may be the only advantage mine have then, cause since i still use the razor fork plates i still have the races

no that one does have a spot for the race you can see it in the pic. i was saying that for me to make a complete fork i need to find out an easy way to do this. cause i can be buying bike forks just to cut the steer tube off haha which is what i did with those.

see in the last pic it has no race but the crown is there for it to press onto.

oh ok then, lol

wait cory, so you just cut bike forks and convert them to scooter ones? in yes, that kinda sucks, is there a way of producing raw fork tubes (using a lathe? dunno)?
