Cleaning Bearings

I found a thread about cleaning bearings made by brian boston about microwaving them in windex, and i wanted to know if it worked without microwaving it, just letting it rest

also, what else can you use to clean them?

i use rubbing alcohol, i know some people use like kerosene and other random stuff. i just put em in the alcohol for so long and then give em some 3 in 1 oil, works great for me.

I soak Mine in Kero, was em' off with a paintbrush, wipe out the Kero and re pack them with bearing grease.
