ya well, snow is slowly melting and Im a very impatient kid, so I went riding. But my shoes were a little dirty and now so is my griptape. I need to clean it because I'm painting it so how can I clean it. This must sound retarded but theres salt all over the road and my shoes put some all over my deck and now whiteish brown spots on it. So ya, help?

i dont really know of a way to clean it... id just put new grip on.. a sheet is 5 bucks and it covers 4 decks if you use it right. you could spray paint it black so it looks cleaner.

Just get a sponge that is rough (the one's for cleaning frying pans) or just any old sponge that isn't too soft and doesn't rip easy, and dip it in water and then scrub your griptape until it's clean. Works everytime for me...

Once I got my grip really dirty and I accidently got it wet thanks to a fucked up water fountain then i just rubed my hand along the grip and all the shit just came off with plain water.

haha just buy new griptape... its not that much money, all this griptape cleaner is rediculous... Plus a change on your griptape is good once and a while and you wont have to worry about the grip not catching... or somthing.
