I got myself banned.
Heres a good way to clean out your bearings, i just did it the other day and it works nice. I read this on a skate forum.
1. Get a water bottle (like Deer Park) that large enough to fit bearings into the top, if its not big enough just cut the top off
2. Put your bearings in the bottle
3. Get some windex and pour it into the bottle so that its a little bit over the bearings
4. Put it in the microwave (no its not going to spark all over)
5. Set the time to 30 seconds. Start it and watch the bottle closley, if you see the Windex foaming up, open the microwave and let it cool down, then start i up again, repeat this until the 30 seconds are up.
6. THE BOTTLE WILL BE VERY HOT. It will look like it shurnk, take it out after it cooled. DO NOT SNIFF IT (i did it, got Windex up my nose and it burned so bad). Dump the windex out and put your bearings onto a paper towl and clean them off. All the dirt and grime should be out of it.
7. Oil them up (dont use WD-40) and put them back in your wheels!
It works great if you do it right..
Heres a video of them in the microwave to show they dont spark up haha, download.
