The majority of stars you can see at night are suns, rarely they're planets or something else.

There's no doubt there's life out there, or there has been, or will be. On one of Jupiter's moons (Europa?) they found ice and super tiny life forms, and there probably was some life on Mars a long time ago. If there are three instances of life in our solar system then there has to be life elsewhere in the infinite (or at least near infinite) universe.

The planets can shine, just very dim. You can sometimes see Jupiter, Mars, or Venus if things are right. But I gotcha, I think.

Also, it's encounters.

anything that reflects light can "shine". satellites do it to.

and i think more studies on Europa are going to be interesting. its like a big ice cube right?
