color kit vs. tilt pegs?

Kit is way fucking overpriced. You can find Scats for 30 bucks a pair all day (which is still overpriced for those pieces of shit), grips are 10 bucks and grip tape is 5.

Or just go get demons on titetoyz which are way cheap for $25 a pair. And then just buy grips and grip tape, so all together your looking at $40 instead of $60

Demons are still way fucking better than yak scats. eagles are way more expensive than what you were looking at, but they'd be a much better choice. Do you have a specific price range? We could probably tell you what the best choice would be in your price range if we knew how much you had to spend, because there's a huge difference between 20 dollar pegs, a 60 dollar kit, and 80 dollar wheels. They're not even in the same category.

150 bucks? Get a pair of 100mm Demon Cores (NOT Demon metal cores, Demon Cores are 50$ a pair, and 100mm is the most you'll fit on a stock ultra pro without sanding the fork), and some T bars with ODIs, then save the rest. Generally, 21 high 18 wide is a good baseline for bars, how old/tall are you?

for 150 this is what you should get...
ultra pro high-$60
flexfender-$5
odis-$10
fsa the pig headset-$25
and 2 mgp or blunt wheels-$40-$50
grip-$2-$5

note*-get the ultra pro high and cut the bars down to your height because 18w may take longer to get used to but trust me its worth it in the long run.

He already has an ultra pro d00d. I think he should just keep the stock headset, he might have trouble with the whole changing headsets and cutting down bars, seeing as he's a beginner and only 13. It is kind of intimidating when you're first starting out. And Demon Cores are infinitely better than either blunt or mgp wheels, and are 50 dollars a pair.

I say:

Demon Cores, 100mm - http://www.titetoyz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69_73_75&products_id=439

ODIs - http://www.titetoyz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=11

Grip - http://www.titetoyz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25&products_id=42

FId OS bars, get 21h by 16w I'd say. It would be good for your height/age. http://www.titetoyz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=91_99&products_id=561

And you should be good to go, it should ship fast since you're in CA and so is scooterzone, and you'll have just about enough with a few bucks left over after shipping.

naww id highly recommend an fsa the pig. stock headsets always come loose. being the pig has a metal lockring it stays tight also, its alot smoother than stock.

Oh alright then. but I still say the stuff I listed, and then worry about the headset if you have enough money left. you can get a FSA Pig off of ebay for super duper cheap.
