back to the original post, I have to agree. The people who designed my local park were so stupid that they make paris hilton look like Albert frickin Einstein! They have a 6stair with a break in between that isn't even big enough to fit a skateboard on, let alone land on it; it was probably put there for some fat guy to park his ass on it when he's tired or something! On the other side there's an 8 stairset separated by a rail next to a bank (which is good) but it's so narrow that even lindsay lohan couldn't walk down it without getting stuck! The moral of the story? If the elevator is broken, then don't, I repeat DON'T take the fucking stairs!

my skatepark has 2 sets, one of them is like a huge 8, and the other one is a 3 with a nice bank at the bottom so you can either jump down the stairs into the bank or launch off the bank and over the stairs.

I learnt to do it that way lol, sometimes I just jump the whole thing but most of the time I land on the flat and do a whip or bar or something down the last bit, besides, whats the point of having flat if you can't land on it? why not just make a bigger stairset instead. wtf is wrong with this world?!?!?!?

I see 2 sides on the matter,

1. Banks can be used for going up and doing tricks

BUT

2. Jumping down a Bank isn't hard, its really easy, if you don't clear the whole thing then you just roll down, but jumping stairs actually accomplish something, with teh risk factor and what-not.

Thats the way I see it.
