after the shows you go to post up how it was. what happened. as dibble did for DGD.

UNDERÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â?¹Ã?â??ATH, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, SAOSIN
NOVEMBER 15tth.
UCI BREN EVENTS CENTER, IRVINE CA.
okay so ive seen all these bands at least 3 times except saosin. NEVER seen em.
I havent been going to shows for a good 6 or 7 months and thought this would be fun cause it was the first place i ever saw uÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¸ live.
got there super early.
just chilled out and stuff.
theres an in N out like .5 mile away so that was good. haha
got it a little late cause i had to wait for my parents to put my backpack in the car. hahha

TDWP: really good. i just chill near the pit. didnt really move much cause the floor was huge and it was too crowded.
The vocals have gotten worse live but everything else was good.

SAOSIN: ehh i was really disapointed until they played your not alone. everything else was okay.

UNDERÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â?¹Ã?â??ATH: Favorite live band ever. They started with this intense video in the background on the screen. then opened with some new song. i havent picked up their new CD cause i havent really focused on music like i used to. so i didnt know half their set. but they played A boy brushed red. and its dangerous business. which was cool. goood crowd. Played alot from define the great line. danced a little. got dropped crowd surfing. really fun set though.

not too good of a show. usually i have some gnarly story.
but w/e

post yours

November 8th:
Ludo, Eye Alaska, The Higher, The Graduate @ El Corazon in Seattle

I really only went for Eye Alaska but fell in love with everyone else.

The Graduate: I pretty much shit myself over how perfect the guy sung. they had three guys drumming at the same time and they had a hella unique sound. I talked to the singer and he's pretty cool

Eye Alaska: pure magic. they sounded unique in their songs and then i shit myself because they were magic live. i met two of the guys and bought their EP.

The Higher: Disappointing compared to the other two. I didn't really like their songs. not terrible though. Still worth checking out...

Ludo: Fucking amazing. lots of moshing, stories about sex, getting heckled and stuff like that. awesome songs, and the frontman is the coolest guy on stage ever

I was going to the underoath show, but i got a concussion two days before and i really didn't feel like getting beat up by some crazy nor cal bros

October 25th: Butterfly Effect

fucking awesome live, pretty small venue and about 1/3 mosh but it wasnt a 100% fullout pit where everyone goes nuts and kill each other and they sound almost the same as the cds live

i advise any aussies to go to the part two tour next year (its 18+)

I went to a streetlight show a little while ago.
It was a pretty sweet venue called the crazy donkey. or something like that.
I was like the last person they let in. And we missed the 1st opening band but the second band was called fear nuttin. and they were like reggae/skacore sh!t. so good though. And streetlight was pretty much like. super fantastically awesome. It was one of the first shows i had been to in a while, and it was a great show.

Then the next weekend i saw minus the bear, and they were hella super tight. Saw them at the starland ballroom.
First opening band was silvi. Super good vocals, except everyone was really ugly except the drummer. he was sexy as sh!t
Next up was Annuals. They were really good too. less vocals. more like Explosions in the sky.
Minus the bear came up after them and well. i was kinda speechless. the place was filled with smoke after the first song. and there was mad kids on E. grinding up on every thing they could find.

I wanna thank seankane for the tickets to the minus the bear show, but i couldnt end up going to that show, so i went to the show the night after.

lotsa fun was had. lotsa pee peed in bottles on the highway. lotsa js smoked.
Lotsa sleep slept.

and i loved the intro movie and the entire show was so gnarly. <3 writing on the walls was so good

SAOSIN FTW!!!!!1

Dragon force @ The Carling Academy: some pretty sick stuff, no disappointments, plenty of interaction with the crowd and totally worth the money :D

i'm not disagreeing that the vocals could have been off. i've seen them quite a bit and cove's either been dead on or shitty, no in between so i get that. what i meant was how can you say there weren't good until you're not alone? that's by far their shittiest song in my opinion. it's a cookie-cutter pop ballad.

Means: Last U.S. show ever! They were amazing. I loved them.
Solidarity: They were ok. im not into their style of hardcore.
Saints Never Surrender: They were good liked them alot.
Midnight Suit: They are my favorite local band. Progressive/Screamo/Hardcore. Put on a good show as always.

It was too bad no one showed up because it was means last US show. But still good.

Slipknot && Machine Head. October 26th.
AMAZING SHOW,
Machine head put on a better pit then slipknot the crowd seemed to like MH abit more too. but MH's sound kept cutting out.
SLIPKNOT where amazing,
by far best concertt ive seen.
They put on an amazing show.
They started off with some wierd envirmonetl kind of sound, and joey at his kit with twig glove things on, then took them of, and they opened with Surfacing,
They didnt play wait and bleed which i was looking forward to, and with Spit it Out, they didnt do the whole, jump up thing,
But it was still amazing, atmoshphere was good too,
