saw: the sword, lamb of god, and metallica
best show ive ever been to. the sword opened and was amazing. the crowd was still pretty sober and nothing much happened until they finished with Freya. then people decided to let the booze get to them.
Then Lamb of God came on. never heard them before. The singer dude was telling everybody in the to just tear the place apart, and some serious moshes started.

Then metallica was supposed to come on next. i thought the sword and lamb of god were gonna be WAY better than metallica was gonna play. i was wrong. METALLICA WAS SO FREAKING GNAR YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE! the lights they had, the music the people it was so crazy. some drunk bastard passed out and fell on me in the first song. i was pretty confused, i just wanted to leave him there haha. but my cousing looked at me like i had to do something cuz the dude fell over the stands and onto his head. picked him up. he had a nice gash and his head and went on. so they play and its awesome. then the second to last song (The day that never comes) some idiot tries to run on stage and some security guard tackles him and they fall off the stage. pretty sick. they finished with seek and destroy and droped a bunch of HUGE beach ball thing on the crowd and stuff.

fun shit

God damn nick, I am just green with jealous rage right now that you got to attend a concert of that caliber.

The Trews (18/12/08)

Fucking gnarly band from Nova Scotia, saw them tonight, really only have heard their stuff on the radio and didn't give them much thought until tonight when my friend said his gf bailed on him for the concert due to some family thing, so he gave me the ticket instead.

Long story short, they are WAAY better live than in the studio. Definitely a show I recommend seeing. Band called mobile opened for them and they were gnar as well, same story as for the trews; waay better live, they covered baba O'Reilly haha, so great. But yeah, the trews were amazing, and the venue was really good too. Definitely recommend seeing them sometime if you can.

saw GWAR with toxic holocaust and kingdom of sorrow GWARS allways badass and toxic holocaust allways kicks ass i guess joel grind gotten daltons dad hammerd at the 3 inches of blood show lmfao.

Amon Amarth Ensiferum, Belphegor and The Absence show was way badass a frigin viking bloodbath!

was WAY butthurt i didnt have money for the metallica and sword show. not much a fan of metallicas new work or anything past black album realy but sloveeeeeeeeee the sword!

Dark Star Orchestra on Tuesday in Montclair NJ at the Wellmont Theatre.

For all of you guys that don't know, Dark Star Orchestra is a Grateful Dead cover band... But they sound exactly and somewhat look like the Grateful Dead. I have seen all of the still existing Grateful Dead members live. (everyone except for Jerry Garcia who is the only member who has died) They take setlists from shows the Grateful Dead has done and reinact them. They are insanely good, and are the closest to the full Grateful Dead expierence, meaning they play exactly like the Dead did. I love seeing all the seperate members, but DSO is the closest until the Dead reunite tour... I actually just saw the full band except for Jerry as Penn State University, it was good, can't wait till they boys go back on tour together again........................

The flaming tsunamis last night in wallingford Connecticut

Shit was ridiculous. By the 3rd song i was buck naked except undies. Which i learned later would be a terrible mistake, considering theres blood on my bed from all the cuts i got from assh*les with long fingernails.
The singers mic keep going dead but everyone else was in top form. The sax player was rippin it so hard and i was right infront of him.
I drank a 40 and half before the show and smoked a bowl which was righteoussssss.
The last song they split everyone up into Dinos Vs God. I was on dinos. cause im cool like that. They started spray silly string everywhere and i got kicked in the mouth and rocked in the head so many times.
I thought i saw Hep Greg there too but it turned out to be some kid who looks exactly like him in every way shape and form, he even had a gnarly dirt lip.

Edit: i totally just got in the shower and found silly string in my pubes.
