Anybody know what these are like, I'd be able to use it for filming as well as fp skating.

Get a gopro; I have one they are the best for anything, literally anything (I dropped it over 3000 feet to concrete and it was 100% fine) except long lens shooting.

I'm going a little more towards the go pro now, but I'm still not entirely 100%. I prefer the contour a little more but then with the gopro you can buy an LCD screen for it.

dude the gopro is so much better; it's so easy to use:
go to the goprocamera channel on youtube and just watch their videos dude

goproooooo! they are wayyy more versitile, carry more potential options for accesories, and they come with a waterproof casing... (you buy the casing seperatly on contour) and who the hell cares for gps... think about it...
