convincing parents

i like riding at night, or at least from 6-8, where its not so hot and its darker outside. it also gives my photos a cool look...
but i'm not allowed to be out when its dark because a car might hit me or whatever, so how do i convince my parents to let me be at a skatepark when its dark?
my parents won't let go of alot of things, much less rules...
oh yeah, and is there a way of convinicing them to let me stay at a skatepark for longer than two hours at a time?

Maybe bring a friend to the park? i don't see why they wouldn't let you stay there for more than 2 hours at a time if you had a friend with you.

i kinda had the same problem, but all i can say is just keep asking them, not enough to get them irratated, and give them some good reasons why its better to ride at night and its more fun to ride for longer periods of time.

Tell them your riding the bowl. Theres alot of security down there normally anyway, so if they question you just tell them its constantly being monitored by local police. If that doesnt work just spend the night at your friends house and go ride. if that doesnt work just build a kicker and ride that all night.

i tried that before.... then i got ownded by my dad. just be like.. what could happen to meif im at a enclosed skatepark? go on to say that ull have a cell phobe with u. if u dont have 1 use a friends and shiut. and be all nice.. works on my parentals

well, i'm 13.
what really sucked is that at 5 pm i was gonna ride with david miles, then they said it was going to get dark and rain and shizz, and it never happened...
i should just be like i'm going on a really long bike ride and leave on my scooter for a couple hours...
