cracked folding mech on my pro

i just locked my folding mech today on my pro and took it for a ride down the street. i wasn't even jumping it.
i got back and looked at my mech and it had a big crack in it. is this surposed to happen?
did i do the bolts up too tight?
is this razor a defect or am i just too big for scooters.
some one please give me an answer.

when you tighten the bolts the aluminium bends to an extent so it will snap overtightening. go easy.
you dont need to overtighten

yeah i probably overtightened it. do you think its good to ride or should i put the stock parts on it and take it back. i had the 2 5/16 bolts where the other 2 were and i used a 3/8 to hold the headtube back. i like my scooter pushed forward a bit.
and yes they are blue pro mod wheels and they came with black grips.
and i know nothing lasts forever but it should at least last in my room for a week and one ride down my street. its only new!

id hate for that to happen, the postman just delivers your brand new pro mod, you bolt the foldy to stop it cracking and it cracks. Shouldnt of overtightend it mate lol.

i tried just doing it up firm but it still went back when i landed on it. maybe pros don,t work for me. i should probably get it welded, try a micro extreme or stick with the good old madds. madds last forever if you do steel reinforcements on them. mines lasted me nearly a year and still going.
