crappy fork reinforcement

I'm sure we have all seen the video of how to reinforce your fork, so the threads don't snap, but the threads still break, and your whole bars comes sliding out, although you dont snap the reinforcement, so you won't do a faceplant, but it didnt really help anything, did this happen to anyone else?

umm....i reinforced my fork but took it out because i didnt get the length of it right..and it didnt let my bars slide down all the way...so im gonna redo it today. i know i wasnt any help...but i dont get it

dylans? ...full fork reinforcement looks like a really good idea if you have time. its like a tripple reinforcement or something like that. idk search it, but that has never happened to me. my reinforcement works great. no probs

you have to use an old t-tube if you use handlebars then they wont meet equally and the threads will have space to bend wich will weaken them still.

Handle bars from Razor are a little bit small. So there is still some space between them and that makes the threads crack.

I DIDN'T USE HANDLE BARS!!!!, I USED A T-TUBE!!!!, second time I'm saying this

I'm not reinforcing my Pro fork since by the time I break it (which wouldn't be extended much by my crappy workmanship), I'll have saved up the $70-ish for a Pig and SR Fork

the best thing to do is get a stronger pipe. im going to use this old bike seat post probably. this happened to me the other day though, i snapped the fork but not the reinforcement.

I just went to home depot with my forks and tried out a bunch of steel pipes until I found one that fit right in.. Easiest way to do it and it's strong as hell too and stays put..
