Creaking noise in foldy

make sure tht when you bolted it, you took that little plate off.
its behind the fork and attached to the front part of the foldy
make sure its off

why shoudl it be taken off? doesn't it help strengthen it or something? mine is still on but i will take it off if you can give me a legit reason to do so.

Exactly, you take it off so that it gets tighter.

Washers are a must simply because they apply the force fo the bolt to a wider area, making it compress more.

alright thanks i will give that a try and i think that i probably misread your other post wich is what lead to my confusion.

just tighten them ride for about 2 weeks it will almost completely go away then tighten them again and ur good to go
