Creaky headset?

Umm it never creaked before but I went to tighten it the last night because it was loose and now it creaks whenever I spin my scs with my bars off. What can I do to stop the creaking or should i just get over it. It is a Cane creek s3 if thats important haha.

With my bars on now it doesnt creak so should I worry at all?

yes you should, all cane creek S series headsets creak sooner or later dont know y they just do

Put some grease in the cups and one the bearings. That way it isn't metal rubbing on metal.
