Crows problem

im so excited i got my new hic crows, and i realize the shim is inside of the bars. I cant get it out and its getting me mad,. is there anyone who knows how to get the shim out so I can actually use HIC

i say try to pull it out with a flathead screwdriver

yea i got mine too its not the shim its the headset when u tighten it it goes into the headset thats why it feels stuck u have to hit the headset cup down then pull it off

you just got to break it in a little

what? a headset is the spinny thing on that tube on your scooter dude. its not any type of shim.

yea just try to get some thing kinda shaped like an "L" (maybe ur allen keys) and try to hook it in there and pull down. just tinker with it for a bit.

ur dum the shim when i tighten it goes into the top headset cup and thats why the shim or bars are stuck and wont come off YOU DONT KNOW WHAT UR TLKING ABOUT

no its not even installed, the bars have just the shim stuck inside, and there isnt a top cap or a bolt. inside, just the shim

well thats how they come u have to have the bolt and top cap sorry my mistake but im right with that problem that u will deff have and my shim didnt come inside the bars it was out

Get something really fracking long and shove it down the cap hole in the crows
maybe that'll work? haha, i dunno.

i just got back from a bike shop and they couldnt do anything, so im just going tostick with scs and cut the bars before the shim

i can get it out it happened to my friend take a flat head screw driver and stretch out the bottom slit on the bars then get another strong person to grip the shim with like plyers or w.e is best and then while they pull out make sure ur stretching the bottom of ur bars

thats how u get it out
 
This is how you do it. You take a flat head screw driver, and you hit the inside of the shim until it keeps rotating so the slit of the HIC and the slit of the bars are aligned. Then you take the screwdriver and you hit it inside the middle of both the slits and the HIC will come out...keep hitting it.. it will work
