yes, but not nearly as much as at the fork, plus if you break your t-tube, they're easy to replace with a seatpost or something..

as you can see ( second picture that rob posted) i need a a new t tube, yay for seat post coming in any day now! but anyway, i think it a great idea caus emy scoot wa sonly like 2 month old when i snapped my t tube.

Ive broken 2 sets of bars, thank god i ride buffs now, i went for a finegrwhip and i let go of teh scoot, and it landed upside down and snap
