Hi,
I have been posting on here for a while and had great feedback, our decks and completes will be out at the start of next year ( months behind schedule but been a good learning process, lol!) Our website will be up next week and we are now stockists for Pheonix, District, Blunt, Eagle sport, Blazer, Razor and in new year TSI, Ambush and DSA.
Anyway! Reason for this thread is that I was looking at starting a regular raffle and coming on today noticed a raffle for wheels getting some good and lots of bad comments and wanted opinions on if its worth doing or not?
My plan was to sell tickets for £1 each and the winner gets a custom scooter, we basically set up a scooter spec, e.g. full blunt, deck, forks, stripper bars, triple clamp, compression, grip tape, grips, bearings and eagle sport wheels, total retail about £320 ish but just sell enough tickets to cover cost of parts not retail so maybe 280 tickets and we would build for free and that would cover post worldwide too. Everyone gets a ticket number when they buy one so all straight and when enough sold we get a mod on here who I dont know but eveyone trusts to pick a number from 1-whatever the last number is 280 in this case and then whoever has that ticker wins, that way they know who it is and so do I in case they miss the drawer and everyone knows it is fair! That is the best totally fair system I can think of, I just want feedback to see if people would be interested in it? We dont stand to make money but we get our name out to a lot of people as no one else does this and so its free promotion for us and I also get to build the custom scoots, which I love so its all good!
Sorry for taking 200000000 words to write a simple plan out but want people to see the full idea and see that its a legit idea that is not fixed and everyone knows how many tickets there are to start with etc etc.
Cheers,
Joel.
