cutting forks for baby scs

hey so i have baby scs and a schocher fork. Y do i need to cut my fork cuz tats wat my friend told me???

For baby SCS to fit, you either need to cut your fork down .5" or you need to use spacers. This is because the baby SCS has a smaller forkspace to hold it on.
