Cutting Speed holes

I'm already aware there are a few threads discussing speed holes and link to a specific tutorial video, however I was just wondering the perspective of others. Do you think this is a good idea? Whether you have cut one or are thinking of pros and cons, even how to cut the hole other than a table saw, post it here.

I cut one in mine a while ago. It really doesn't feel that much different, it just looks sweet ahah
yeah man, no doubt. I rode my friends flavor and the stuff i could get due to the weight of it was insane. If only I cut as much weight to be able to get all of those tricks on my thresh I would be all set

I don't think cutting your deck and reducing the weight will make it perform differently. The speed holes people cut are more for looks.

I would use a drill press and a hole saw bit or whatever they are called. Or I would use a good drill and make sure the bit doesn't "walk" somehow

I made over 40 holes in my Threshold to make it perform better.
It didn't make enough difference so I bought a lighter deck.

I honestly think they look cool but make that shit crack easier so I'm not honna rock it. Plus i think it'd look stupid on a session

what do you want out of it? if you want a performance difference then theres lots of options and ideas but depends on how game you are to ride something that responsive (flex) that also doesn't imply thats it gonna break real quick, that depends on your tricks if any and how you use your weight.

if you want any help or that then pm me, i got plenty of ideas and past projects that i would be happy to show and chat about, same for anyone else who has asked me before and i didnt reply. much easier one on one/small group than a forum of edgy cunts with stupid, unproductive questions.

ive let people who flip flyout all day ride my stupid light scooters plastic wheels and all and they are surprised how it holds up before they try to do things with it that are not easy on their own which is usually a good kg heavier.
just like anything in life, find out for yourself and make do with you own judgments.

lets start a thread then, i like modding stuff and would like some of your insight as you have much more modding than most people and seems to know what your doing. what tools do you use most, im guessing a drill press but what do you recommend if that is not available??
