For some reason I didn't like him first cuz his vids were the first ever I saw when he was a little kid doin fricken backflips flyout and I was jealous, and pissed off cuz he looked 5. Second off his website kinda fueled my dislikeness for him and the fact he puts his last name on more stuff I've bothered to. Then his over priced probably heavy bars irritated me because MY 3piece bars were heavy enough as is. And he has bike bars on them. THEN I have friends tryin to show me the same vid I first watched actin like it was the ----- don't ask why but that somehow directed to him. And finally... Well idk his riding is legit. But in a different way, I just can't put my finger on it. I kinda think he's like a way less douchy version of Ryan sheckler to scooters

Jesus. My bars were 17 when high when I was in 6th grade. They're like 21 high now and feel more like 22 because my headtube angle is like 86.

dakota is really good at scootering, but hes not really good at the only thing i care about when someone scooters, which is if it looks good. Obviously,the tricks he does are really hard. but they arent cool, for whatever reason. i dont thinki have any interest in watching him do all these crazy technical maneuvers without anything behind it that makes it "him". The best thing i could relate this to is like trying to listen to a guitar virtuoso practice his technique. Obviosuly its really hard, but it gets pretty boring pretty quickly. it becomes good when the technique is put to use in a good song, where there is actually some feeling behind it.

i kinda agree wit u. its like the shit they do is gnarly as all hell but i just think it gets boring to watch. its not just dakota tho i feel that way about ryan williams and that brenden Smith guy? idk the kid who does a inward to switch inward over a spine haha the first time i see it its like WOW WTF was that! but then idk it just gets boring to see.
