ive been trying to get a new foldy for my new a, and i got an old a one that i sawed off, but now i just realized that it doesnt have like a bottom piece on it that i could bolt it to the deck with...
andy ideas on how i could still use it???

yeah but he has a b model foldy mec which has the piece of metal going across the bottom with holes drilled in it.
i sawed of an old a one then noticed that there is no bottom piece going across it..lol.

I got myself banned.
I wouldn't even mess with an old a mech... but if your going to... take the plate from the new a, and place it over where the folding mech was on the old a and just mark off 4 holes and drill them in the new a plate. Have fun drilling holes and threading them with the mech though

well the new a has really thin metal so what i did was used a b1 stem since its thicker and bolted it and it lasted for about a week until i got headshake again,but i didnt used washers so that probaly why

yeah it was the only thing i could get as of now though.
but thanks brian! :]

but chris were talking about folding mecs not bars haha.
