DECK GRAPHICS IDEA.

1. Cut a large piece of paper and cut it out to your deck size.
2. Lamanate it.
3. Buy a piece of plexi glass 1/8 of an inch thick.
4. Cut it to fit your deck.
5. Tape the lamanated paper to your deck tape under the design on top of your deck.
6. Line up the plexi glass where you want it and drill holes.
7. Scew it to your deck.
6. Now drill holes for pedal pins, I use really small allen head bolts. they work great and less expensive and easy to get.
7. Install the pedal pins or allen head bolts in your deck.

yes some of the spelling is bad.
its an idea i thought of today in school.

yeah... i kinda always wanted a design on my deck that i could see and i haven't tried this yet, cause i don't have the money. but im just laying it out there for everybody.

yeah no griptape at all thats why you put the pedal pins or allen head bolts in for grip so you don't have to cover the design.

I like the idea. I've never heard of clear griptape though. But if you can do this, post a pic. I might try if I know that it's possible.

truee haha but that slows down grinding. but ricky used grip tape on the bottom of his deck when he does rails to help balance i think haah. so yea sick ideas.

I mean't on the top of your deck where you stand at.. and then use pedal pins as grip instead of griptape so you can still see the design but ill try and get a sample put together and post pics...

Graphics would last about a month in the sun, about a minute when it rains.

A full color sticker and clear grip tape would work better.

it would last if you lamanate it and plexi glass over the top and put some sealer on the sides to water out im going to do it to my deck this saturday ill post pics afterwards.

on ccs they have something called "slip tape" that you put on the bottom of skatreboards so the graphic doesn't wear down
that mite work

maybe you can spray adhesive the graphic onto the deck then like everyone else said just put clear grip over. I don't see why it wouldn't last..

or you could just have a vinyl sticker made to the shape of your deck and stick it on the bottom.

and that skateboard think andrew had looks cool but it makes it heavier for no real reason

joe - clear grip tape would work but its hard to get and it willl get dirty easy then you won't be able to see the graphics and as far as weight goes its not something im worried about.

margret - this idea is for graphics on top of the deck.

1. you can most likely find a bunch of it online so it shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of. 2. stomp yo feet if they got dirt on em =+P. oooor don't wear dirty ass shoes when you scoot?.. just suggestions
