Flat bars are usually cheaper, but square tubing is stronger. I snapped my deck and it snapped the Alum. bar reinforcements.

Square aluminum and flat bar steel are both strong, but square aluminum is usually lighter, but of course that depends on the thickness of the tubing. Like Harry said, they also help with icepicks/double pegs. Noseblunts too, maybe.

yeah alex is right. i have box deck reinforcements and they help with almost every corner of my riding. strip reinforcements are strong but don't really help with tricks. i would definatly say box reinforcements.

Any reinforcement will help your deck really. If you want to be able to grind easier then get box reinforcments. If you dont really care or you care about the weight then get L or strips. Its basically whatever you want. You can always switch.
