Desert Scooter Conditions

Are there any special considerations for riding in a desert environment in terms of maintenence, cleaning, bearings, ect? Lets just say I'm going to be in a desert environment soon, and I wont exactly have access to a local skateshop. Any tips would be helpful.

don't ride in the heat, and never sit on coaping during the summer

Things will heat up faster, so make sure everything is lubed/greased, but you should be doing that already. It'll be fine as long as you don't ride in dirt all day.

keep extra griptape, mine gets dirty sooo fast. bearings get dirty but not too bad. and the ground is very.. very hot in the summer.

Oh and make sure if you hot glue any wheels is not low-temp hot glue, it melts out of your wheels...
