I don't spend a lot of time on a computer. The most time I waste is on SR. So for someone like me who isn't very very familiar with the machines it's nice and simple and I have no problems.

but macs are expensive
and if you dont spend much time on them, it seems unecesery to spend so much money
and if your not fammilar with computers, it makes sense to go with the option that most people have, so you can ask your friends family for help if you are confused.

My parents bought mine and paid for everything. It was all free for me.
I dunno where you live but around here at my school more people have macs then laptops. Plus my dad has been using them his whole life so if I ever have a real problem he helps me out.
