Quite possibly the oldest scooter team in Australia. Me and Corey Ryan formed it back when the NBS boards started up. Back when me and him were pretty much the only aussie's on the online scene. Sadly the DST is slowly dying, back in the day it consisted of Me, Corey Ryan, Josh Mclean and Hayden Thulbore. Josh and Hayden quit pretty soon, still to this day I think Josh had one of the coolest and originalist styles ive ever seen. Josh lived in the same town i do, we were progressing fast learning off each other. Sadly Josh quit, as did the rest of my local team riders resurrected. So the DST was down to Me, Corey and Hayden. Hayden was only a beginner but had alot of fun riding, he quit after awhile. So then it was just down to Me and Corey. We ridden a few times, good friends and still are. But sadly now that he has gotten older and moved on with his life he doesn't scoot nearly as much as he used to. His in a pretty good band, but he still supports the sport and his local scene. I hope one day in the future he rides more again, because many people don't realize what he done for the sport. He was the original scooter rider on Manly Blades, also sponsored by Cozmo Wheels. He organized 2 successful competitions which featured scooters, the only scooter completions in Victoria I believe.
Corey will always be apart of the DST. But now im remain the last rider, I asked Corey Clemet to join, i have known Corey for a long time, since he was just a little noob! lol. His proven himself as a good person and dedicated to the sport, and thats what the DST is, not a skill based group, but a group of friends. Although we don't do much, were still around, and will be around much, much longer.
So there you go, i figured i would type up this bit of history since alot of people weren't aware of DST.
