i really don't think were at that point yet in this sport. Maybe in 5 years, but there is still not enough people that take scootering seriously.

Just telling them we want scooters in it next year probably won't do much. They're gonna be looking for lots and lots of pro's emailing them about wanting to compete and sending videos. Even then it'll be a little iffy.

guys stop we should NOT want scooters in the dew tour yet. there arent enough park riders that do shit like the bmx riders that ride park. yea Tyler bonner and terry price. i mean yea they are good but they wont have the consistency to be close to dew tour status. it will just make our sport look bad. and in the street section skaters are doing like tre flips nose blunts down 10 set rails, not even matt mckeen can make scooters look good after that. our sport is wayy too young give it time, in another 5-10 years maybe we would be at that level but right now we arent.

so chill focus on riding and not on recognition. we will get there.

Yeah and I don't even want scooters to be recognized. Soooooo much better when its not.

well we do want to get recognized, but not yet.

its like picking raspberrys, if you do it too soon its going to be sour, you gotta wait until they are ripe and ready.

Thats true. I just like the underground deal where you can still just do a tail whip and people are like OMG HOLY SHIT I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE!

I can easily think of 10, 99% consistent people for street and park. You need to do some research.

You guys are so close to the dew tour and my sport, xpogo, is years and years away. Lol but I scoot as well as xpogo and I'm supportive of seeing you guys get there 100% but these guys are right, you still just a have a little while to go but it'll happen.

but we arent ready for it yet. i mean the riders in the dew tour have been riding for longer than scooters have been around. if we were to have the best scooter park rider in the world, and put him next to dave mirra, too most people the scooter rider would look bad. i mean tell me of one rider that can air 10ft + over coping constantly with a few tailwhips thrown in and then 360 backflip no hander the big box, icepick on top of the huge ass wallride then double backflip the box and come around and do a 9 foot 360 double whip over the spine. and even if we were to do that, people on bikes can do that and scooters are expected to one up bmxers. if we cant easily one up the bmxers in the dewtour ( like do a 6 whip over a box and then flair quad whip like 7 feet over coping) we shouldnt be in it. we cant be rushing our sport like this, when you rush things it turns out bad. face it, scooters are smaller than bikes, therefore people are going to be expecting alot more out of them.

Scooters are smaller correct..which means less speed. have you seen Bonner and Kota battle it out? Its like watching the dew tour on steroids. There is DEFF a group of people ready for each section. no extras tho. but once again were on scooters..not bikes..so dont say we have to do all the shit mike spinner does. Hes not the only one in the tour. I dont see skaters doing the same stuff as bikes..why? because skating and scootering have something in common..they both are their own sport just like a bike. I dont think scooters should be compared to a sport..its a sport of its own.

but skateboards and bikes both have a huge fanbase, scooters really dont. for us to be in the dew tour our sport needs to grow alot more.

well, like what brandon said, if those people see a scooter rider pulling even a backflip pretty much, theyll go crazy haha. i remember i saw this INSANE roller blader at a skatepark i was at, like this guy was dropping in a 10ft. bowl and doing 540s and stuff like nothing. and he was goin crazy that i aired a spine and lipslid a qp like 5ft. so if scooters were in the dew tour, i think the best thing is to make them the first act so the people will compare the skaters and bikers to the scooters, instead of vice versa

no one would watch it, scooters will get taken off, and they will never put them back on because they learned there lesson the first time. i really dont think people here are actually thinking this through, and just wanna see scooters on the dew tour. do
