They should just get a bunch of really good pros to go and do a demo at te dew tour just to get recognized

Well they could at least do a demo, not a competition. Then slowly build from there. You can't just start off at the very top with a competition on live tv, no one would watch it.
I remember there was a demo in one the xgames with scooters, and it was failure. Like Anthony said, there weren't even consistent. Everybody was doing flairs to stacks and it was just bad.

I'd say at the most, just a demo at one of the stops. Hopefully they'd give a better ramp than at X Games. Cause that one was horrible.

this would be an amazing idea. maybe convince the dewtour to let some of THE BEST riders use the actual dew tour park (not some shitty halfpipe like the xgames demo) for a few hours, just to show off what scooters can do. that would be the best bet at this point in time.

On another note, I think a demo at a dew tour stop would be good enough for now. Just get our sport out there. There are way to many people that hate us because they think its just some little kids toy. But one day, we will have enough respect worldwide to be competing at the top of the ranks along with bikes, skateboards, inlines, etc. Give it time and it will come, in the mean time we just need to work hard to get the sport out there and keep a good name for it.
