Seeing as Buff seems to be busy, if you give me the go ahead, I will start COTW/POTW using the e-mail I set up previously. So shall I do it, or wait for buff?
Do you have access to the front page now? The last 3 emails I sent to him the first line "can dustin/kieran have access to front page".... He only gets online every so often in aus. do the emails forward correctly? Ill post the winners if you want.

I can't get WP to work, and he hasn't set up the forwarding of the e-mails. But I can just have them sent to an e-mail that I have set up.
Rules wise I was thinking that POTW seems fine, and that VOTW should be kept back at the traditional 30 seconds, otherwise there is gonna be less people sending stuff in because it's too much effort for them. With regard to timing, I will say that each week, people need to get stuff in by Sunday each week, but because of time zones, it will be Monday for me.
So if you will be able to post them up for me until Buff sorts out WP, I will be happy to start now?

Ah man I was really pushing for VOTW to have less rules. Anything from 1 clip to day edit. Music/editing allowed and stuff.

Yeah the e-mail is the same one. I guess that can work, gives people the chance to be creative and give it their all. I will do what I can to the rules and then we're good.

Right I've posted the threads for now, feel free to edit the rules to suit what you had in mind, but I put them as what seems suitable. Do I need to post a thread in the "Content" section every Monday, for you guys to vote?
Yaoooo - Kieran you know that Buff wants all the POTW to be hosted on SR now? That way we have a solid copy of every single POTW. Photos sent as attachments can probably be left as attachments... since we (aka me for now) have to upload them to wordpress and whatnot.
Downloading a photo from photobucket or wherever isn't hard at all, but e-mail attachment isn't bad either, at least if we're trying to host all the images on SR itself anyway.

I don't think it matters anymore. Attachments were SO annoying before when I'd just have to host the photo on my own photobucket or whatever if I wanted to use it. But since we're hosting it on SR regardless I don't think it matters. It's up to you how you wanna do it like 100%, I just keep throwing stuff at you as I remember it hahah

I wouldn't make any of the entries public, if that's what you're asking. I'd say definitely make a voting thread in the subforum in the admin section for it.

Yeah that's what I meant. The "Content" section in City Council.
One lower.... "web comps" ... there is a specific area for POTW/VOTW next to SOTM
