well i was recently looking through some old pics with my mum and we came across this one of me on my scooter.

it was at a caravan park i once went to on holiday, in somerset.


i looked at the pic and remember a thing that happened there.

right so i was going round this caravan park to check out all the things they had there.
they had a dirt jumping thingy for bikers which was cool, pool that sort of stuff

and on my way round i came across like 4 kids like 9/10 ish that were on scooters

they were jumpin over this like little drain thing trying to do tricks on it

i just invited myself in and showed them up haha

i was like 9 at the time and i was doing some pretty good no footers over it, maybe the odd barspin.
and these kids were just jumping it with no tricks thrown in.

i was like to them "so what can you do?"

and they didnt speak back and left hahahahaha


just wondering wether this was anyone on here haha

lol i maybe didi used to ride to the shops and stuff when i was younger. (on my plastic scoot)
used to try the odd whip
but didnt pick up freestyle until my park opened.

First scooter was at 8 years old ;) Big-ass-beefy-Betsy we called her, 200mm wheels, 17wide with backsweep, plastic board on top of steel pipes for a deck.
I'm 15 now by the by, so 7 years ago
First skatepark i went to was in 2005

I was riding them big scooters when i was like 8 or something but not serious just going down muddy trails asif i was on a mountain bike or something.
But took it serious like 3 year ago and quit and now im back.

used to ride a plastic argos scooter about, proboly when i was in like year 4/5 then cant remember really when i started taking it serious. proboly around year 7/8 when i met other people who scootered and we started riding the local park.

i remember having a plastic scooter at 4/5 ish like every kid and trying the occasional bunnyhop but never took it as a sport until maybe a year ago ?

i Cursed scooters all the time at the skatpark until one day i saw this kid come like 15 was doing double whips, 360's, tailwhip spines, grinds i just thought Woah! and started riding hoping to see him one day. then one day riding at stockwell skatepark he was there! this was about um? 2, 3 years ago but i ride every day now or at least every other.

omg it's rob =D haha you have mod status now? it's bin a while. Sorry bout the wait. Anyway, i got a new scooter (XT Pro, stock) and i'm getting back into it =] hahahah... hows things?

Lol, apparently i live about 130 miles from middlesbrough (Google maps told me so). Oh and norfwankton = Northampton but theres barely anywhere to ride here (since they closed radlands) so it's wank.

Haha, dw scootsteve i wouldn't expect anyone to recognise me... Still, i'm sure there are more of us older lot. lol.
