District Clamp Shim Alternative

I got the district bar clamp, and at the moment i ride inward bars. I know the clamp fits hic and ill need a shim. I was just wondering if anyone has made their own shim out of anything other than tape. So any advice would be awesome.

You'll need a few soda cans if you wanna shim from normal sized bars to a district clamp. Just look around for a piece of metal that might fit. Chances are you won't find the perfect size but just get whatever's close.

You could always go to Home Depot. Find a short pipe that fits around your bars, but inside the clamp. Cut it to the height, cut a skirt and there you go, you have a shim that fits.

but if u bend flat metal it might be easier because u dont need to find the right size, but yeh ideally the tube idea

I think that District will sell the clamp with a shim, it's stupid if they didn't do that tho ^^

^^yeah the shims for half knuckles should fit.

I got my Lucky NW's and they said that you need a shim for it and then I put it on and it looked like there was no need for a shim. I happy for as long as it works (I hope forever).
