district clamp sucks!!!!!!

my friend uses them on his buffs with the shim and the clamp wont clamp tight enough. anyone else have this problem?

My friend has district clamp with buffs, and cos he bought it before it came with a shim, it didnt fit(cos he hasn't got oversized buffs) and now with the shim it does work, so obviously your just weak >.<
