District Clamp

I have inward bars and this clamp but it won't fit. I realize there is a shim for it but don't want to buy it. If you have any suggestions on how to get it to fit post them (It would help a lot). Thanks : )

soda cans or duck tape

DONT USE TAPE

cut 2 sheets off a pop can to size, put a circle of tape between the 2 sheets, boom u got a perfect shim.
