District crown race

Right, so I'm crap with headsets, especially integrated since its all new to me, but I just got my district headset, and just had a question, is the crown race the little black thing at the bottom of the stack? With the slit in it? Or does it not come with a crown race?

The one with the slit in it is usually the compression ring. I have seen crown races with a slit, but most aren't. The crown race is a solid ring of metal with no breaks in it. The crown race will look like this...
