They let their stations be ruled over by other people besides there CEO's because if they just went with there ideas there stations would fail. They want to be able to advertise to every single person in the world. Thats how you make business... You sell out.

if nationalism is blindly following the government without questioning it, then i don't see how that applies to the united states. right now bush's approval rating is about 30%. that means that 70% of the people in the country are not blindly following bush, and not hailing him as they did hitler. and who the hell is calling bush "innovative, brilliant, kind, and compassionate."?

hitler was a mass murderer since he ordered people to be killed. the us government isn't commiting genocide. the vast majority of people dying in iraq are being killed by muslim extremists, not anyone involved with the united states, so how can you claim it's genocide? the war may have been for money and power, but you can't associate genocide with that. genocide is happening in places like darfur, not iraq.
