Does this piss anyone else off?

When in a video, someone does a trick over something, then does the same trick, but with another trick added to it? ex. You backlip a rail, then later in the video you backlip whip the same rail? I know a lot of my friends do it, and a lot of riders I really admire do it, but in my opinion it just screams filler and is lame as fuck.

not when they like show them one up themselves thats cool
...How?
I get if its like, a throwaway or a day edit, but if its something that you've been putting a lot of work into, like a promo for your sponsor or your video part for a DVD, don't you want it to be your best riding? And if you one up the trick than isn't that trick not your best riding? I just think its dumb.

I agree with parish, if it's just the same spot over again it gets boring. But some people have skateparks and the nearest one is like a 3 hour drive, it's understandable

People call it "Razor filming" because Razor videos used to (still might) do that exact thing. Tailwhip over a box, double tailwhip over a box, triple tailwhip over a box. That's just what happens when there isn't enough footage to go around. I think occasionally it could work, like if someone does something that's already really gnarly then there's a second angle with another trick in or out, but for the most part it's a big faux pas.

I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't bother me. I think everyone does it when they are new to putting out a video, then learn to put more variety and less filler. I probably still do it though haha.

This is a forum.
Its meant for discussion.
If people just ignored ----- watched videos, and just rode their scooters, this forum would be nothing more then sell/buy, help with putting my scooter together, slider vs. gripper, and video threads.

I actually agree with Parrish for the first time in the history of this forum.

Perhaps this is the start of something beautiful.

Oh my ass, you loved me before you got on Vertx.
i think its no big deal, especially when you like what they do
Well if you like what they do, wouldn't you like to see more of their harder tricks, not just variations of the same ones?

We kind of call it razor filming. Because its notorious in every razor video.

Probably because nobody wants to spend enough time on a trip with razor to film a decent video part.
