Double Clamps

do TNT, French ID, and micro Double Clamps wook around buff bars (Proto) because i just stripped my double clamp from my pro model today, im pissed.

TNT clamps suck. french ID clamps fit. micros dont.

TNT clamps aren't too good unless you run two of them. DK clamps are the best for sure.

but if anyone here has buff bars, for the pro model clamp, you have to bend it from stock size to fit over the buffs......would i be able to do this easy with a french id or DK clamp.

French ID clamps are the same size as buffs.

I honestly don't agree about the TNT clamp statement, I've ran mine for a few weeks now with no problems.

If you run a threaded fork it doesn't matter. But when you run a threadless fork and the bars slip a tiny bit, your headset gets looser. So chances are you just can't feel it coming a tiny bit loose.

PROTO will be releasing a "Half Knuckle" double clamp hopefully by the end of this month specifically for BUFFS but will also be compatible with all smaller sized one pieces.

I don't know a whole lot about any of those clamps but judging by what I've seen I think French ID is your best bet if you need it ASAP.

Andrew, you should design or produce some bars with an inbuilt clamp.

Thought about it but the standard compression system takes care of that so it's not really necessary.

well i do kind of need one ASAP. but i guess i can wait, but do you know like when the Brass Knuckles and the threadless proto fork are coming out? because i'll just kill 2 birds with one stone, because i still have a stock fork. lol
