When a religious person talks about death its "comforting" or sometimes "inspiring"; but if anyone else talks about death theyre just a creep.

When a guy bangs a lot of girls, hes the man; but if a girl bangs a lot of guys, theyre just a slut.

Scooters. They count as skateboards when I'm riding street in an area with a "No skateboarding" sign, but they don't count as skateboards when I'm in a skate park that doesn't allow scooters.

I like how christians are extremely hypocritical. The bible says the earth is nearly 6000 years old. Not many christians accept this as a fact simply because... it's not? That would mean dinosaurs and shit roamed the earth at the same time as the egyptians.

but the bible is fact, so...?

Killing is wrong according to the bible too, but look at how much violence, murder, etc. is in the bible! And if the bible is the only book we should follow, then how come there are other stories like the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is almost exactly the story of noahs arc, but was written long before the bible (and thats only one example).

I have a feeling that this is gonna turn into a religious debate thread. i can go on about this stuff forever haha.

and trainer: all i can really say is that i guess that all the violence is either explaining sin in story or from the sinner.

but i dont get why people say our sport is mainly composed of little kids, but i see just as much little kids on bikes and skateboards

ok ok, i am a christian, i do believe in the bible but i just thought... if god says alcoholism is a sin, why does jesus turn water into wine? i know im being hypocrytical but i really dont get that one haha. and im holding back arguements now to prevent ruining this thread

or that everyone is forgiving for their sins, but if you sin you're going to hell.
or that we should love our neighbor and killing is bad, but the bible says Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
or that if a woman cheats she is to be put to death, who is going to put her to death if killing is a sin? and if she is put to death who the fuck is going to make the sandwiches?

lol im not trying to bash your religion or anything but it relates to the thread.

I dont mean to offend you or your religion, its your choice not mine. But I agree with Rob. Were supposed to follow the bible, but yet the changed it. How do we know they didnt just fill it with a bunch of bullshit?
And I went to a religious school for a few years, and some of my family is very religious. I was always told that god loves everyone, and god believes in people who believe in him, go can not deny anyone; but if I dont go to church I go to hell? Hows that make sense.
Some guy in the mall was trying to convert me last weekend, and he said all you have to do to get into heaven is ask for forgiveness. So I replied by asking what if someone killed an entire family and said sorry to god, would they instantly go to heaven?
And to keep this on the double standard topic, how come we see a muslim jihad as wrong, when christians did basically the exact same thing in the crusades?

Once again, Im not trying to start anything. Its your beliefs not mine, your choice. To each his own.

How come when a dude cares about their appearance, they're gay or something, but if they don't care about their appearance, they're grimy?
