okay, so, i can do them of the tinyest little ramp, but when it comes to flat, i just cant get my feet on the deck, anyone got any tips?
go faster, and jump higher. even if you think you cant just jump higher. whip it harder. this is what im doing with triples right now but thats how i learned doubles.
use a ultra pro deck
Speed is the key with these, I found it easier to learn them going down a steep hill also.
Kick the deck with your feet as hard as possible, jump, suck up your knees, use your wrists to spin the deck quicker, stomp it when you see it come back around.
Get the rotation of just spinning with your wrists while standing next to the deck and jump on it when it comes back around. Also make sure your compression isn't super tight.
like matt somers said, keep your feet together. taking one foot and throwing so the deck still has a quarter spin until it gets under you is a bad habit. it will lead to a huge let down and it will take you longer to get it right.
It's the same as with every trick. Keep trying till you stick it or die. There's no fancy way to get tricks, it's all practice.
It took me about three months of being thisclose to landing them. Then I landed one, and it took a week of solid stacks before I could land my next one. It'l like learning how to whip again.
