Double whips flat.

It does take some time but you will be so happy if you get them down.
Jump high
Whip fast
Don´t forget to focus on your landing
Thats my advice.
For me it was the same learning the Kicklip.I flipped it perfectly but couldn´t land them because i jumped back after i flipped. Just focus more on the landing part when you got the whip´s down

okay, so, i can do them of the tinyest little ramp, but when it comes to flat, i just cant get my feet on the deck, anyone got any tips?

damn, so many things stated, but some of the obvious things were left unsaid

1. Keep the deck under you and your feet (not in front, behind, to the side, but have it centered under you)
2. Keep the deck parallel/flat to the ground
3. This is to say when you jump, you should feel the centered feeling of a double whip flat because the deck is straight and centered and is also right under you, it will just feel really right, and once you get there...it's all wrists
4. I had the same problem at one point, I think it's just all habit (muscle memory) and maybe for some, some strength, but if you're getting them off tiny ramps, just work your way down. If you can double off a 4 inch curb, inevitably, with practice, you will just naturally learn to double flat without a bunch of effort
5. You have the tips, but when it comes to tricks, there is never a recipe for success. Help is just for advice, never will you hear info that will allow you to go and just land a trick (granted it has any difficulty) Now that you have an idea on what to do, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

good luck dude, keep us posted

this is spot on. when i learned double whips (same with fingerwhips) flat i just worked my way down from a kicker to a 2x4 with a piece of plywood on it, to doing them into a bank or on a hill then flat.. thats the way to do it :)

I like kicking really hard, going a little faster than slow, and focusing on jumping pretty high when I try them. I don't land them every try and I'm not good at them at all but that's how I do them.

I've been riding for 2,5 years, but when I started riding I never tried to learn double whips. I just learned them, and what helped me is speed. You probably won't land it in the near future, but if you practice every time you are out riding you will have them one day. I never really tried to learn them, but when I rode I did double whips of obstacles and one day when I tried it flat I landed. Don't give up, keep trying!

^ What he said. Just keep trying them every time you go ride. And what helped me was trying it over things like a stick or something because it will help you commit and not just put your foot down

It's literally all in the wrists. Just practice practice practice! Also what helped me was instead of having my feet flat on the deck, I kinda stand on my toes a little

Not that hard it look me a week and don't keep doing them flyout just do them down little banks or a step , you just gotta throw it as hard as you can and land
