driving is pretty gay until you actually get a lisence / car but once you do youll be glad you did.

learning to drive is good because you don't have to get your parents to drive you anywhere, which means you can go anywhere you want, anytime you want, as long as you have a car.

What's with kids and freedom? "I just wanted to be free." Were you locked in a cage at your house? You couldn't get rides from friends, ride your bike, or God forbid ride the bus? Once you start driving you realize it's not all that great, and that being a passenger is way better than driving.

something is not adding up here.

you may not live with your parents, but you don't have your own place.

i half agree with you. in high school i drove to school, definitely beat the bus, and none of my friends rode so that was my only way to the skatepark.

but now that i'm in philly i have no need for a car. i do like driving when i get the chance though since i only drive once every 2/3 months now.

well with my town its so rural if you want to go anywhere you have to drive yourself. there is no other options.. i mean you may be able to get a ride from someone but you shouldn't count on it.

when my sister went to college (in rochester, ny) she was one of the very very few kids with a license and her own car at that point. she ended up giving rides a lot because most of the other people there had taken a bus or whatever all of their lives.... we don't have that option here.

so basically, if you want to go anywhere or do anything, dont count on being able to do it outside of a close area from your house unless you can drive there. (in my town) lol

i highly disagree

most of my friends got licenses after me, including kids older, i was on the ball...
i rode my bike and scooter, but not as far as i drive....
the nearest bus stop is about 2 miles from my house....

driving is probably the best thing i have in my life right now (its not number 1, but its up there...)
passenger sucks, mostly, people suck at driving... only fun part is when im with a friend trying to drift, it scares the shit out of me.....

Josh, I was saying that driving to street spots to scoot is the best part.

Sean, I wish I lived in an urban (or at least more) place, because I'm living here in the biggest non core city in America, or so I've been told. So basically the biggest town that's only a suburb, 10k people visit our downtown every year, pathetic. But yeah, if I lived somewhere where you could ride your bike/scooter everywhere, I would. So I'm in the same boat as you Matt.

Grant, maybe you don't drive far or something, but sooner or later you'll realize it's a lot better to just sit back and relax than to stress about changing lanes and merging.

its not realy an opinion. when you have your own house you are going to have some bills to pay so its sort of a fact. and even if it is just a basic house, that doesnt mean ou dont have to pay bills so wtf?
