DSLR fitting on a Cam Caddie?

Would a Canon T1i WITH a battery grip fit onto a Cam Caddie (X-Grip, whatever)? I am curious because I plan on getting it soon but I see stuff like it'll work and won't work so I want to see if anyone knows.
